1. Individual Ranking Systems

The Group of Eight is generally regarded as a grouping of the top ranking Australian universities with most of them sharing a long history and a well-developed research focus. It is interesting to look at how they compare with each other using the four ranking systems of Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), Times Higher Education Supplement (THE), Shanghai Ranking Consultancy's Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), and US News.
